Outside The Box - Studio is an exciting venture designed to provide a warm and supportive environment for children, parents and educators. More than an art studio, Outside The Box provides a holistic approach to education. The curriculum is designed to encourage personal creativity in order to address the cultural and creative needs of the families of Southwest Florida and for the global community.
Our multimedia art studio (i.e. art, music, dance, theater, drama, yoga, writing, poetry, photography and more...) complements the current school-district curriculum while enabling children to express themselves artistically. Our eclectic and well-rounded team is comprised of experts in the plastic arts, science, music, writing, poetry and drama, to name a few.
We can offer:
studio/family learning center with an emphasis on the arts. music and movements awareness for infants, toddlers and parents. multilingual activities after school program (up to the age of 10). customized programs for non-profit organizations, schools and homeschooled children. educational travel and summer programs and field trips. birthday parties, special events and families activities/ workshop. Testimonial
"Outside the Box truly lives up to its name. I have found it to be a wonderfully creative, fun and inspirational environment for my daughter. Lulu and her team make each experience special, unique and exciting for all. There is a true caring for each child's personality and spirit, which shines through in each class. There is play and freedom of expression involved in each session coupled with an enormous capacity to learn and explore new ideas". V.S--- Happy Mommy

Our Curriculum
A holistic curriculum based on multiculturalism, body/mind/soul awareness, environmentalism and a sense of community. Self-expression through the arts,in order to help empower our children is the core of our program, which follows the developmental stage of each child.
Our Goals
1. Engage the families and educators of our community in the process of providing children – the adults of tomorrow - with a space where they may channel and develop their personal skills at their own pace.
2. Balance and enrich the knowledge children acquire at school. Help children find their place in the world and relate to others empathically, regardless of race, religion or culture.
3. Help children and families express themselves by means of all forms of art.
4. A part of the tuition paid by our families will go to purchasing art supplies to schools in rural villages and non-profit organizations in underdeveloped countries. The children attending Outside the Box-Studio will be aware of this in order to help them feel they are part of a bigger community, a global community and that they can make a difference in the lives of others.
